2016-01-20The CALIPSO satellite performed a polarization calibration on January 20, 2016. The payload was down from 20:48:02 to 21:33:19 UTC.

2016-01-28The CALIPSO satellite platform transitioned to Command and Control Reduced mode following a GPS anomaly on January 28, 2016 at 09:55:38 UTC. The payload was commanded to SAFE mode on January 28, 2016 at 16:14:11 UTC. No science data are available from January 28, 2016 at 09:55:36 UTC until March 14, 2016 at 17:35:37 UTC.
2016-03-16The CALIPSO satellite performed a boresight alignment on March 16, 2016. The payload was down from 15:17:57 to 15:51:38 UTC.

2016-10-04The CALIPSO satellite payload was commanded to OFF on October 4, 2016 at 12:05:00 UTC due multiple recurring memory errors in the payload single board computer. On October 5, 2016 at 12:52:52 UTC the payload was transitioned to SAFE mode to prepare for a return to Data Acquisition mode. On October 6, 2016 at 17:46:13 UTC the payload returned to Data Acquisition mode. No science data was collected from October 4, 2016 at 12:05:00 UTC until October 6, 2016 at 17:46:13 UTC.
2016-10-07Due to a USN ground station anomaly, science data is missing on October 07, 2016 from 12:07:51 UTC to 22:36:13 UTC.
2016-10-27 The CALIPSO satellite performed a laser inhibit due to a Hubble Space Telescope overflight on October 27, 2016. The laser was inhibited from 07:14:56 to 07:15:12 UTC.
