2012-01-22Due to the payload transition to OFF, science data was lost from January 22, 2012 at 23:14:24 UTC until January 23, 2012 at 10:57:16 UTC.
2012-01-23The CALIPSO satellite payload was commanded to OFF on January 23, 2012 due to an increase in 10 and 100 MeV proton flux associated with an M class solar flare.

No science data was collected from January 23, 2012 at 10:57:16 UTC until February 3, 2012 at 13:54:39 UTC.
2012-01-26On January 26, 2012 at 11:35:25 UTC the payload was transitioned to SAFE mode to prepare for a return to Data Acquisition mode.
2012-01-27On January 27, 2012 at 22:25:00 UTC the payload was again commanded to OFF due to an increase in 100 MeV proton flux associated with an X class solar flare.
2012-01-31On January 31, 2012 at 02:26:07 UTC, the CALIPSO satellite performed a drag makeup maneuver.

On January 31, 2012 at 11:49:14 UTC, the payload was transitioned to SAFE mode to prepare for a return to Data Acquisition mode.
2012-02-01On February 1, 2012, an attempt to recover to Data Acquisition mode was made at 16:14:58 UTC and the payload experienced a Failure Detection Isolation and Recovery (FDIR) event caused by an IIR under-temperature.

On February 1, 2012 at 17:40:46 UTC, the payload transitioned to SAFE mode due to the IIR FDIR.
2012-02-03On February 3, 2012 at 13:54:39 UTC, the payload returned to Data Acquisition mode.
2012-02-05Due to a USN ground station anomaly, science data is missing for February 5, 2012 from 00:21:09 to 04:48:50 UTC.
2012-02-21The CALIPSO satellite performed a laser inhibit due to a Hubble Space Telescope overflight on February 21, 2012. The laser was inhibited from 17:41:03 to 17:41:19 UTC.
2012-02-23The CALIPSO satellite performed a boresight alignment on February 23, 2012. The payload was down from 15:37:52 to 16:08:49 UTC.
2012-03-06Due to the payload transition to OFF, science data was lost from March 06, 2012 at 23:38:54 UTC until March 07, 2012 at 08:11:24 UTC.

2012-07-25The CALIPSO satellite was transitioned to SAFE mode to perform a drag makeup maneuver.

Science data was lost from July 25, 2012 at 23:03:11 UTC until July 26, 2012 at 23:50:19 UTC due to the Laser Energy FDIR disabling the time tag buffer.
2012-07-26The CALIPSO satellite was transitioned to Standby mode to recover from the mode change error on July 26, 2012 at 15:03:01 UTC.

The CALIPSO satellite transitioned to STANDBY Ready it experienced two Failure Detection Isolation and Recovery (FDIR) events due to erroneous low laser energy readings on the 532 and 1064 laser energy monitors.

The CALIPSO satellite transitioned to STANDBY mode as a result of the FDIRs.

Science data was lost from July 26, 2012 at 23:50:19 UTC until July 27, 2012 at 23:07:02 UTC due to a write pointer error caused by the lost X-Band transmit resulting from the disabling of the time tag buffer.
2012-08-30The CALIPSO satellite performed a boresight alignment on August 30, 2012. The payload was down from 19:57:26 to 20:27:42 UTC.
2012-09-03The CALIPSO satellite payload was commanded to SAFE mode on September 03, 2012 due to an increase in 10 MeV proton flux. The payload was down from September 03, 2012 at 12:39:45 to September 05, 2012 at 14:56:50 UTC.
2012-09-12The CALIPSO satellite performed BITS testing on September 12, 2012 in conjunction with a drag makeup maneuver on September 13, 2012. The payload was down for testing and the maneuver from September 12, 2012 at 20:55:42 UTC until September 13, 2012 at 07:29:37 UTC.
2012-09-14Due to a USN ground station anomaly, science data is missing from September 14, 2012 at 23:37:47 to September 15, 2012 at 22:54:02 UTC.
